@3:23 AM

(fine, jayne, you were right about me not being able to stay away from blogging)
thus, i am glad to announce the

END OF MY HIATUS!

nope, i haven't completed ALL my overdue work, since that is well impossible, but i have completed the most overdue piece of work, so im quite alright. my BSD essay is complete! done! finished! ready to be handed in and it's probably terribly written, but the most important thing is that it's FINISHED! albeit eight weeks late, nyahahaha.

shockingly, it was quite fun writing the essay. lit essays aren't too bad i guess, come to think about it, analysing is decidedly entertaining except i cant really analyse so i end up recounting the entire book. and i dont mind amy tan that much now, although she does write about the same themes all the time & whatnot, i must admit she's rather good @ capturing the mother-daughter essence, although it tends to be way exaggerated & rather erm. whiny.

DARN I MISSED NATIONAL DAY RALLY;
because i was helping my sister with her social studies assignment :) it was quite fun actually! going back to my primary school days of sticking information on coloured paper then mount onto vanguard.

guess what,
ldp is ready for applications early september!
i was practically announcing it to everyone who was online just now, probably much to their annoyance, but im so excited whee! found out just now when i was slacking online checking out the moe gep website for special programmes and am in a state of absolutely hyperness, although im quite worried i won't be accepted because it needs a TEACHER'S RECOMMENDATION. (which translates to me needing to hand up all my overdue work by the end of august, gulp)

-

quote one -
me: allow me to jump up and down for a while, ldp is ready for application in sept!
liza: gravity will not allow you to do so.

quote two -
liza: idiotic indices, sucky surds, lousy logarithms!

quote three (from long ago) -
mr lee: can someone grab the lights, so i can flash this on the screen
msng: LIZA, GRAB THE LIGHTS!
liza: (jumps up and flails arms in general directions of lights in it resource room) can't reach!

haha liza rocks man. thanks for being such great company on the days i have cca and having to listen to me play the same stuff over and over again :) i'll buy you one pack of speculoos, two packs of chicken in a biskit & two packets of the fish thingums plus lots of mamee for your birthday next year! yeah im very cheapo.

-

whee im starting to suspect im antisocial. today in church, imagine scenario: im reading a book, a friend says hi, i smile and say hi back, friend sits down beside me and asks me what book im reading, i tell friend, friend makes a random comment, i reply and continue reading, friend fishes out a book to read, AND WE LOOK SPASTIC THERE READING. most normal human beings would be asking questions like "how's school! having exams?" or be chatting, but nope, there i am reading my "history of musical styles" book in all earnest.

i will start talking to people of my own accord, i promise.

-

went to music essentials yesterday to get well-tempered clavier and klaviersonaten (beethoven) I, got a membership card because i spent above $110! so kool right, but i look ridiculous in the photo because the guy caught me just when i was sniffing, so i look constipated and my neckbones are like ... out of place. it's very amusing & if you want to see the photo you'll have to pay me $110 so i can destroy it and get a new card!

WILBER PAN CAME TO WEST MALL YESTERDAY AND I DIDN'T KNOW.

also yesterday, was the seminar @ hci (jc) which i completely forgot about and wasn't reminded of so when jasmine smsed and called me i was like AHHHHHHH and rushed over there when i could, except i was already two hours late. interestingly, ny was the only sec school there, the talk was quite kool, but i didnt understand part of the Q&A because i wasnt there for the earlier talks about bordellos aka brothels & fieldwork in researching chinese history, so i chose to study jc uniforms when the audience were asking unfathomable questions. i like ajc's blue & grey. gah i seem terribly shallow right!

-

enough talk for today, i've chittered on like a magpie. TELL ME WE DONT HAVE A BSP TEST THIS TUESDAY, i havent read through any of the material on the taiwan-china relationship & the three times they shook hands thing. nor the lit stuff like gui-sui-shou & all that, so im officially deaded for bsp. sigh.

haven't done music homework either, composing melody for a poem. AND the worst is, i reckon i flunked the physics test on friday which is horrible because physics is (meant to be) my best subject and i HAVE to a1 it, or die, and i've already lost i dont know, 7/8 marks out of 4o. muttermuttermutter.

read in the papers about the genius who plays like 7 instruments and speaks 12 languages & aces all his subjects and i cant help but jawdrop. SEVEN INSTRUMENTS, what i would do to be as capable as that :)

-

to end off with a completely out-of-point quote,

avoid alliteration and irony.

& off i go to do music homework! which is quite fun, & mr matthew lim is funkeh.

& i embraced the world;
